Carhoots Corporation ltd. is the trading name for Carhoots.com. In this policy, we will refer to Carhoots Corporation as “Carhoots”, “our”, “us”, or “we”.

How does Carhoots collects your information?

Carhoots collects your information in the following instances:

1. Signup and registration - In order to improve your experience while using Carhoots and to become a registered user of our service, we collect voluntary information provided by you in the following instances:

a) When you enter an email address on a form in order to receive updates to Carhoots

4. Emailing via a Carhoots Account. As part of the Service, Carhoots Users may communicate with other registered and non-registered Users through use of their Carhoots accounts. Where Users have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from Carhoots to those email addresses on their behalf.

2. Log Data. Carhoots servers automatically record information ("Log Data") created by your use of the Services. 2. Third-party Social Networking Site Users. Carhoots uses custom built technology to provide a service to its users. One element of the technology uses third-party API’s and data feeds to access and aggregate user generated content and display this content on the Carhoots website. Any data that is aggregated from these third party sites has been done legally, in accordance with the relevant API’s terms and conditions of use and based on the individual's privacy settings for the related social networking site. For example, if a Twitter user was not aware that their Tweets were being used by our website and they wish stop Carhoots accessing their data, they must do so by changing their privacy settings in their personal Twitter account to private. Most social networks privacy settings are public by default.

3. Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information. We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. 6. Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement. Carhoots cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We can disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process including, but not limited to, subpoenas, to protect the property and rights of Pinterest or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

7. Ads. Ads appearing on any our website may be delivered to users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. How we store and protect information

We store and process your personal information on our computers in the UK and elsewhere in the world where Carhoots facilities or our service providers are located, and we protect it by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable regulations.
